Meditating on the past is painful for some people. It involves all the hurt, bad choices, abuse, and disappointment attached to a long list of atrocities. The worst part is that you can do nothing to change it. People say you shouldn’t dwell on the past. This is true, but sometimes I have to. It fuels my ambition to correct what went wrong for some strange reason. I can’t change the past but can change my future by starting now.
